A piece inspired by the Orcadian story of the 'Mester Ship', as told in the book 'Northern Lights', by George Mackay Brown. Inspired by music from around the North Sea, in particular the Icelandic band, 'Sigur Ros'.

The Mester Ship

Augenblick

The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Equality and Diversity Forum commissioned new pieces of traditional music to acknowledge Glasgow’s role in the slave trade of the late 1700s.

The new music was performed and recorded during Black History Month (October) 2017.

'Unsettled' is one of five new works and composed by Bernadette Kellermann.
