Kolektiv Flip Field je zpátky s novým EP: tentokrát jsme lovili zvuky na tzv. Zlaté desce. Od kroků po motory vlaků, od plačících dětí po smích, od psího štěkotu po sopečnou erupci – zvuk našeho světa je proměněn v rozmanitý mišmaš beatů inspirovaných hlubokým vesmírem.
V roce 1977 byly do vesmíru vypuštěny kosmické sondy Voyager I a II za účelem sběru dat z vnějších oblastí naší sluneční soustavy i mimo ni. Do obou sond byla uložena Zlatá deska, jedinečná nahrávka obsahující útržky zvuků ze Země, s níž Voyager I a II pokračují ve svém nekonečném letu vesmírem. Záznamy na desce jsou zároveň časovou schránkou i zprávou pro mimozemskou civilizaci, k níž může deska doputovat.

Flip Field is back with a new EP: this time we present our reimaginings of the Golden Record. From footsteps to train engines, crying babies to laughter, a dog’s bark to volcanic eruption, our world in sound is *flipped* and morphed into an eclectic hodgepodge of beats inspired by deep space.
In 1977, humanity took a shot in the dark with the Voyager Program. Voyager I and II were launched to collect data from the outer reaches of our solar system and beyond. Today, these spacecraft continue their endless flight deep into the unknown, carrying with them a singular vinyl record containing snapshots of sounds from on earth. This golden record is at once a time capsule and a message to the alien civilization who may recover it.
