The Outer Circle is back with the next stop of the journey. Showcasing their signature sound across 4 heavyweight cuts from Glasgow based Craig Hamilton and Gourlay. 

As the needle hits the groove "Back and Forth" the first of two solo offerings from Craig Hamilton sets the pace. Acidic tones cut through underpinned by a deep rumbling sub bass and intertwine with slick spoken word elements. We continue with "Vibe", a deep dubby underground workout. Sustained atmospheric pads build over a rounded bass with key stabs peppered throughout alongside female vocal samples.

Gourlay hops aboard for the flip side with "Higher Nature" the first of two tracks alongside Hamilton. A thick sub bass roams amongst arpeggiated 303 tones with fender Rhodes keys scattered throughout. The EP rounds off with "Screw Loose" mesmerising pads drift amidst a rolling bassline, haunting chords and brassy stabs between heavy kicks and rhythmic grooves.

BIO

Bernat is a DJ/Producer from Argentina. He got into music at age 15, when he started playing drums in different local bands. He learned to play a wide variety of genres, fact that would be of massive importance for what was about to come. He swapped to electronic music at age 19, and started DJing at some local parties. Soon, he went all in, learning music production and loving it right away.
He developed a strong relationship with oldskool music and vinyls, and began selecting some Acid, Techno, Minimal, Electro, House and Breakbeat for his sets. At age 21, now in Buenos Aires, he started performing at well known underground clubs and played with some big names,
He released his first record on iO(Mulen)’s Hoarder imprint, with great approval, and quickly started getting more vinyl offers.
In 2022 he made a 6 months tour through almost all the  American continent and finished with a gig in Detroit, USA. Not surprisingly, he completely fell in love with the city and decided to move in. He ended up playing in legendary spots all over Detroit, and got a residency at one the best venues in town.
His music has been heavily supported by the likes of Apollonia, SIT, Priku, Raresh, Varhat, East End Dubs, Livio & Roby,  Arapu, Zendid, Janeret, iO(Mulen), Faster, David Gtronic, Neik, Franco Cinelli, Jorge Savoretti to name some
He’s recently taken off with his own vinyl imprint [Reptil] with amazing results, selling out the first reference, and getting support from major DJ’s, on big stages  like Sunwaves, Neversea or  Dor De Munte to say a few.
