Berne Velasquez, entered the entertainment scene in 2004. His arrival to the music game started on a high note with his first album release, titled, “Life After Deportation”, selling over 23,000. This success came just 2 years prior to being detained and later deported from his home in Los Angeles california where he had lived since early childhood, to his native country of Belize. Immediately after his deportation, Berne presented the re-release of Life After Deportation the CD, accompanied by a brand new documentary that followed his new life as a deportee. 10,000 copies of this project flooded the streets of Belize and was SOLD OUT in time for the introduction of Berne's upcoming project.
“The EVOLUTION” premiered with a red carpet release in 2008. It features 19 blazing tracks along with Part 2 of “Life After Deportation documentary”, which had its debut showing on the big screens inside the Princess Theaters. This success preceded the release of "Celebration Time" which included the #1 Carnival song of the year "Jump Up" that won the 2008 Carnival Song Competition. Celebration Time has sold more than 50,000 units. 

In 2009 and 10, Berne produced and released a flood of new projects including the documentary titled “Change The Game”, and best selling CDs, "Destination Belize", and "The Museum Of Culture Presents: I Am Berne". 2010 was a big year for Berne as he also landed his first leading role in the featured film "7 adventures Of Sinbad" This made Berne Velasquez the first Belizean Artist to land a lead role in an International Film. In 2011 Berne introduced his music to the rest of Central America, South America and Mexico with a new CD "Dileeyu", of which he sold 20,000 units during a tour of the region. Without any sign of slowing down on his music, Berne continued to pursue his newly budding acting career and landed another feature role in the movie Dragon Wasp. In 2012 Berne’s career soared, starting off with the release of his Music Video collection, followed by a stellar performance at the "2012 Spring Break Official Opening Party". This made Berne the first Punta artist to perform at Spring Break on Cancun Beach. Berne is now promoting “Mixed Feelings”, his latest album which features several different genres: Punta, Soca, Dancehall , Hip Hop, Roots Reggae, and even feature an electronic mix of the song “September Feeling”. He also continues to create new material for his hungry fanbase
