This is an instrumental made throughout the sound processing of one single vocal sample. All the sounds elements in the song are created by me, starting from the same single sample. Because of it, the song is called "Atomo"

Atomo

Spaced-out, relaxing soundscapes. Inspired by the multitudes of sand hill cranes that have wintered here in New Mexico and begin their migration north in February. During this time they prepare for the journey by gathering in large flocks and circling very high in the sky, calling out to each other.  You can hear them before you can see them, appearing and disappearing as they catch the sun.

The 3rd Stage [disquiet # 0628] 447 hz Lucchi/Meierkord

Initially released in Atlantea Records label last month, this album is a labour of love, an exploration of refusing to abandon an initial idea, by cultivating and persisting even if it did not make sense or I wanted to give up. I learned to love each song, to surrender to the process and to trust its potential, believing that I can serve as an instrument for its beauty to unfold.

The ten songs are crafted to be experienced as one cohesive piece. In the fast-paced rhythm of our lives, we sometimes overlook the importance of slowing down and redirecting our focus inward. My invitation for you is to indulge in the luxury of opening space for yourself by setting a time to relax and listen to this album with the intention of self-care and self-reflection, just to see what happens.

I still remember the day this song was born. on a Sunday morning in August in 2015.
recently awake and with strange feelings, difficult to define ...
so I went to the piano and found this music.
I tried it again for the whole morning and most of the song was already defined at the end of the day. it was one of the few times in my life that a musical idea took shape and substance so quickly, without too many second thoughts. I have only revised a few details over time, like some notes or rests, but otherwise it is perfect in my opinion. there is no need for anything else. I received appreciation from several friends or people I know when I proposed listening to it .. and so I decided to make it known to a wider audience. I think it is one of the songs that has given me greater awareness as an artist. a kind of beginning ... for a road that I am still walking.

Version update on 25/01/2023.

After so many years and after so many daily rehearsals I managed to reinterpret this piece again in an attempt to add some small details that enrich the atmosphere. No effect or compression etc.  added, only a very light editing to correct the dynamics and attack of some chords or notes.
