This episode is a reflection of my personal battle with overthinking. I attempted to record it more times than I can count, each time convincing myself that it wasn’t good enough. I would delete and start over, chasing something that felt just out of reach. Overthinking is my greatest struggle—always believing I could do better, say something better, or approach things differently. I exhaust myself replaying scenarios and talking to my shampoos in the shower, saying what I wish I had said.

This loop led me to the third part of my podcast. It’s a deep, introspective journey through sound, created in the midst of this endless cycle. I hope you’ll connect with this honest exploration of emotion and music.

BIO
Radondo connects the dots between Italo Disco, EBM and experimental rock within his productions. Incorporating subtle nods to post-punk and dystopian cinema, the UK-born artist creates a map of his influences, weaving compelling narratives in the process.

The Berlin-based artist has built a versatile sound within the Italian Dance Wave movement, garnering a swift reputation for his take on the genre. 
His progressive DJ sets have seen him quickly become a prevalent figure within Berlin's scene, playing regular slots at venues such as Renate and becoming a resident at the revered Slow Motion Records parties.
With a steady run of
releases on labels such as Wrong Era, Discotexas, Ritmo Fatale and Fucanglong Files, he merges arcane soundscapes with ethereal, analogue synth lines illuminating ever-growing sonic threads.
As a remixer, he has gained recognition for his captivating consistency and support from the greats. 
He has remixed the likes of Senor Chugger, Justin Strauss, and Moullinex, tying in a fascination with the darker realms of Italo Disco.
Radondo creates a compelling atmosphere filled with tantalising nostalgia through forward-thinking production and energetic selections that have lit up dance floors from Vilnius to New York.

Nark, aka Kevin Kauer, founder of Bottom Forty and Nark Magazine, has devoted his life to dance music and club culture. For the last decade, he's helped cultivate Seattle's queer community, running a kaleidoscope of above and underground nightlife events including party/political movement Dickslap, a series of annual alternative Pride festival weekends, and the programming at Q Nightclub where he served as resident and creative director. For GhostlyCast #81, Nark delivers a marathon mix that serves as an emotional release and celebrates a recent revelation. "This year was about realizing I'm already exactly where I want to be and surrounded by boundless talent and energy here in the Seattle scene," he says. "Over the years of traveling the world and playing all these cool parties and making new friends and colleagues, I've only to come to realize how hard it is for anyone to separate friendship from competition; it puts a heavy emotional toll on so many people in the scene that builds exponentially, and it can really bring you down. For me, making this mix was about representing myself exactly the way I feel, not up to anyone else's standard. It's about letting go of the things I thought I wanted to chase after and instead, being in the present with myself, our scene and the people around me who need and support me as much as I do them."
