Next up on Fresh Take, we have Josh and George working under the alias Sonic Juncture. Hailing from Brighton and Banbury, the dynamic duo have pulled together an eclectic EP of house, electro, and italo.

The pair have springboarded from their last release with Chequered Wax at the tail end of last year, where they garnered support from industry heavyweight channels like Les Yeux Orange.

They've also drafted in label friend Tech Support to give Energy some more welly.

Sincopat proudly welcomed back the Dutch maestro Tom Zeta to the label after 
the great remix he did for us a few years ago, now to showcase a timeless EP/mini 
album that includes amazing remixes by Angelov and Renato Cohen.
Tom Zeta is well known for his colourful and organic textures and Keep Them 
Coming is a good example of these. The talented Ukrainian artist Angelov 
masterfully reworks the tracks keeping the essence of the original but adding his 
own signature.
The catchy melody of Merry Go Round hypnotises you and transports you into 
Tom's complex and unique sound full of different influences. Meanwhile Renato 
Cohen delivers a another another dance-floor beast, transforming the original 
from a disco minimalism prism to drive you into a total madness. 
Tom's drumming skills are embodied into Hi Hat, funky rhythms all around plus 
brillant synth programing make this song a exquisite piece of music. 
Last but not least Woven Story closes the circle and acts like the perfect ending 
for this magical journey created with so much care and detail.

Günce Acı makes her Factor City debut with 3 excellent original tracks followed by solid remixes from Modular Project and Stockholm Youth.
Istanbul-based Dj/Producer Günce Acı has been spinning in many clubs, venues and festivals in Istanbul underground music scene since 2014 and recently in Europe. Influenced by Indie-dance, new wave, electronica and ebm. Her hypnotic pads, powerful bass lines and absurd melodies meet under the roof of her signature sound. She has already showed her talent in great labels such us Ombra INTL or Nein.
Here we have 3 new examples of her very personal and effective take on dance music. Her unique rendition is full of brazen rhythms, sharp beats and moving percussions. Powerful and sleazy bass lines. And hypnotic and mental synth stabs and pads.
The remixes come by Italian rising duo Modular Project. Their take on “Dream of the sirens” is a riveting and percussive ride. A perfectly crafted retouch.
And production team Stockholm Youth, formed by Stockholm Syndrome and Tronic Youth, who deliver a raw, distorted and darker version of “Exposure”.

Low Manuel - Marso (Diego Montiel Remix)[Side UP Works]

Celestino, the curator of the rising German platform Sexy Dinosaur From Outer Space, makes his debut on U’re Guay Records with a four-track EP divided into two well-constructed originals and two outstanding remixes made with love by Mexican superstar Pvlomo and Brazilian virtuoso Vasconcellos. 

For both originals – “Strange But True” and “Wild Times” –, the seasoned Frankfurt-based producer opened the vaults of his good ol’ Techno influences and delivered two fast-paced and upbeat cuts that sound completely different from his previous retro-futuristic-infused works. 

The remixers, in turn, decided to go in different directions and twist the originals according to their own will: Pvlomo inserted beautiful vocal hooks and handed over a splendid and mind-blowing Synthpop interpretation of “Strange But True”, while Vasconcellos went for a joyride through the Electro road and delivered a frenzied and intricate version of “Wild Times”.

Javi Golo is no outsider when it comes to the underground electronic music scene. The seasoned Spanish artist has been fighting the good fight for quite some time now – since 1984, to be more precise. Being on the road for such a spell turns the mission of sticking to one single genre virtually impossible if you are a true music lover. House, Techno, Trance, combined with Disco, Synthwave, Hi-NRG, resulted in the eclectic and rich sonority he has been dedicating his efforts for the last couple of years with well-received works published on vital labels such as Espacio Cielo, Logia Records, Banshees, and NEIN – to which he returns now to deliver a horrifying and daunting EP: “Dracul” presents itself with four shadowy originals, a couple of fangs, and a gory remix by rising Mexico-based producer Andrea Acosta.

For the track we chose to premiere – the most beautiful of the release, by the way –, JG Outsider opens the tomb of his darkest influences in order to deliver a stunning Cold-Wave-meets-EBM cut with a powerful but sober bearing. The jumping bassline allied with the ghostly pad and the ethereal synth lead supply the perfect ambience for the mesmerizing vocal hooks and deliver the perfect closing theme for a great EP.

A series of compilations supervised by Javier Busto and Ivan De La Rouch on the Madrid based label, brings together a large number of talented musicians from all over the world.
This release includes names as Alda, Cabaret Nocturne, K-Effect, Dirt Track, Cannibal Ink, Javier Busto, Ivan De la Rouch, Tkuz, Montcosmik, Telesketch, JP Soul and Pino. In total - 10 tracks, and they all sound like a potential DJ weapon of destructive power.

Today we present to your attention premiere of a track called "Serpiente", the work of Ivan De la Roach and the Mexican producer Tkuz - dark ebm piece with a ragged rhythm and massive bass line which for six and a half minutes will hypnotize you as a cobra hypnotizes his prey before an attack.

Brainchild of Multi Culti A&R, Sascha Funke and Niklas Wandt were introduced by Dreems, who charted a course for the seasoned Berlin-based producer and funky multi-percussionist and singer. 

Wandt was just about to enter the scene forcefully with his collaborative 2LP with Wolf Müller and the debut single of his band Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge. In the icey cold of his warehouse rehearsal space, Funke had him record a variety of slapped, bowed and scratched percussions (congas, talking drum, prepared cymbals played with a bass bow) over his tracks. These first efforts were later expanded into joint sessions at Sascha's home studio and, within a few weeks, the journey reached it’s destination: Wibe strasse, Deutschland.

At first glance, they seem an odd couple: a techno veteran of almost thirty years meets a side-burned upstart socialized in Free Jazz and Krautrock. but the shared sonic influences come through in the hypnotic, dubbed-out sound, perhaps rooted in the close connection the two share to the Rheinland region in West Germany, Funke as part of the Kompakt family and Wandt by origin and socialization in the Cologne and Düsseldorf music scene centered around the Salon des Amateurs. Regional flavours, global appeal. Multi Culti, promoting local collaboration, one freaky record at a time.

On his debut album Melt, Stevie R brought us the sounds of rebetronica, his very own fusion of the rebetiko music he was raised on during his childhood in Greece with the latest in forward-looking off kilter house and techno music.
Allying himself with the Egyptian poet and glitch producer CERPINTXT and Turkish singer/songwriter Djanan Turan, he delivered a wonderful LP.
