The Brazilian duo "Moozeic" (Joici Borges and Manuella Wintrich) and the Mexican "Veltran" fall on Neurokat Records with their new "Electrowave" extended play and it's loaded with a powerful remixes by Lu Zero, Imanol & Panko.

Through references found in genres such as Synth-wave, Progressive, Techno, Rock and Disco they experiment beyond aesthetic standards and linear concepts.

The opener its a solid, electrifying and ethereal track, "Disco Ritual" kicks off the mind-blowing with spectral vocals.

Up next comes "Electrowave" a more dark disco and paranoid cut, with obsessive synths and a oscillating lead that takes you into a psychedelic forest and Imanol turn it into a crazy acid mood that you'll wish never ends.

Panko makes a welcome appearance with a dark, dirty and power-driven mix of "Disco Ritual", a mind controller, a one way ticket with no return.

To close the EP, Lu Zero with hers version of "Disco Ritual" a rhythmic and psychedelic expedition, voices and sounds from outside this dimension.

`Erotika` initially formed its shape in the deep layers and cells of analog and digital music hardware. With some tribal drums on top of a straight four-on-four beat, crystal acid drops, and smooth waves of FM synthesized lines it becomes a black body of pleasure. Burning in cold flame, mystical voice of Vaide adds erotic soul and completes this track as a perfect dark disco room experience.

Roam alumni Silicodisco returns to Roam with Spanish compatriot Xácome with three original tracks to form the Estas Loco EP. All three tracks bring a strong psychedelic post wave sound forward starting with Rusty Grass - a low slung gritty yet dreamy offering. The title track Estas Loco carries the stripped down 80s synth themes found throughout the EP. Mind Panic fits perfectly taking the vibe further with its rolling bass and ethereal soundscapes. These tracks were ideas, grooves and bits and pieces that have been laying around on my hard drive for a loong time.  After hearing some nice promos from Ureguay Records, I was inspired to polish and actually finish off tracks that I thought would fit with the Ureguay sound and send them to the label. Usually I do what I can to make my productions not sound too old school, although people continue to say that they do. In this case I thought I aim for an old school sound, you might even recognize some beats and loops.

Pawel Kobak - Help

Celestino, the curator of the rising German platform Sexy Dinosaur From Outer Space, makes his debut on U’re Guay Records with a four-track EP divided into two well-constructed originals and two outstanding remixes made with love by Mexican superstar Pvlomo and Brazilian virtuoso Vasconcellos. 

For both originals – “Strange But True” and “Wild Times” –, the seasoned Frankfurt-based producer opened the vaults of his good ol’ Techno influences and delivered two fast-paced and upbeat cuts that sound completely different from his previous retro-futuristic-infused works. 

The remixers, in turn, decided to go in different directions and twist the originals according to their own will: Pvlomo inserted beautiful vocal hooks and handed over a splendid and mind-blowing Synthpop interpretation of “Strange But True”, while Vasconcellos went for a joyride through the Electro road and delivered a frenzied and intricate version of “Wild Times”.

Roam Records label boss Jason Peters is back with a new EP of psychedelic italo inspired originals. The EP opens with What Are You Saying - a mid tempo chugger featuring Jason’s voice drifting over arpeggiated bass lines and electronic melodies with a bit of vocoder splashed in. The title track Little Cages picks the tempo up with a pulsating thematic drive. The EP is backed by remixes from Zillas on Acid and Club Tularosa. Zilla’s is up first with a gorgeous dubbed out version or What Are You Saying. Club Tularosa takes on the title track and brings the fun with an upbeat bassline and uplifting melody.

Interesting stop beats introduced in this adaptation, grant a certain identity, allowing one to pursue a personal vision. While subconsciously knowing it's not the original track, that doesn't take away anything from the encounter. It naturally awards you with an unexpected, but also familiar experience.
