been a while since i last uploaded anything to soundcloud, i always forget about this website now. so heres a soundcloud upload of one of my proudest covers from my recent project of 8-bit covering all the srb2 special stage themes. sonic robo blast 2 is a really good 3d sonic fangame, i highly recommend checking it out.

Sonic Robo Blast 2 - Egg Satellite Zone (Famitracker VRC6 8-Bit Cover)

New cover! It's the boss theme from Donkey Kong Land, but you may also recognize it from Blast Corps, as DKL's composer Graeme Norgate used a modified arrangement of this song in that game.

I tried to do my own thing with the percussion, keeping it in the spirit of the original but adding more variety for different sections of the song.

Shoutout to the Project+ devs for putting this song in the 2.0 build, it's been stuck in my head ever since!

The bass and tom waves are taken from Mega Man V, from Pluto's stage.

Made in LSDj, recorded directly from a DMG-01 with internal ProSound mod.
