Shoegazer Funk 2023

My brother Rob (who passed in 2011) LOVED the surf-guitar classic "Pipeline" which was released in 1963.  When Rob was just 12 years old (!) in 1964, he played lead guitar in "The Renegades" a band of his pre-teen buddies who made it onto the live radio show "Talent Showcase" on WICC in CT.  Here they are performing "Pipeline" on that show.

Shoegazer Funk

I LOVE the southern rock multi-guitar riffs of the 70s:  Atlanta Rhythm Section, Molly Hatchet, Dixie Dregs etc. etc.  All that was an inspiration here, plus other random ingredients.  If you've never heard 4 simultaneous basses or 13 simultaneous guitars, wait for it!  THANK YOU to Teddy Kumpel, Matt Miller, and Candy Girard for fantastic playing that brought this tune to life.  As Lynyrd Skynyrd might say: "Turn it up!"
