This is a composition made for a competition at TIGsource.com - the rule was that the bassline must only play one pitched note throughout the whole piece. You'll be able to hear scraps of both Stravinsky & Masashi Hamauzu's influence throughout.

My entry for TIGSource Musical Challenge XVI, Goemon's Theme. 

While I strived to write a strong upbeat theme for the lead protagonist, my main goal was to make the song sound and feel like it could have been part of the actual soundtrack for Mystical Ninja on the N64.
