International Monte Hills Week

I recently participated in French House Hub Remix Contest and I was able to remix one of the songs from Justice's new album.

The decision to choose ''Muscle Memory'' was natural, it was one of the songs in which I could use sound elements without instruments, which would facilitate my choice of BPM of the instrumental structure and especially the melodic line of the bass.

In the creation process I ended up cutting some parts of the song and putting them together until I had a complete part, after seeing the result of the first attempt, I made 7 more different versions and joined them until I had a result of a complete and solid song structure that sounded different from the original bpm.

OMEAC Records presents a special 10th Anniversary release.

Mr. Hoosteen, DJ Cockatiel, and label veteran Ankaph have come together to celebrate one of the landmark releases "Red Traxx" with a remaster of the forever funky "Duck Jazz"! Made entirely from the ground up using drum stems from Mr. Hoosteen and DJ Cockatiel reconstructing the original samples.

As a sign of things to come a new song has been released called "Spirit Of Our Age" made from a 2017 Mr. Hoosteen demo, also quite jazz/funk inspired.

Ankaph has also returned to the label after many years to do a deconstructed/energetic remix of "Duck Jazz" in his undeniably cool signature style.
