Michael your song was the one that started all of this, I was sitting at the piano and thought, if Michael was a song what would he sound like, and then I just started plucking out melodies and it became this whole rabbit trail I'm really happy I went down. Annette! I wanted to write you a kinda warrior princess theme, something strong and delicate at the same time. It's in the same key as Reprise since I know that's your favorite song of ours, but I broke off and wrote something entirely new. I love you!

NICK. I wasn't sure what type of soundtrack music you would like. But when I started to write a song for you I came up with this track that is a little bit more edgy and minor feeling which makes it feel a bit more masculine and strong. Merry Christmas Becca! I definitely stole parts of Least of Me from Dream Without Sleep but it's just another reminder to sing this on our album haha. To try to differentiate it I tried to make some instruments with weird textures, I've been listening to Frank Ocean's Blond and I know how much you love that album. So I tried to emulate some of the weirdness haha.

BROTHER! So I wrote this with you in mind, since this entire thing is very soundtrack like and video game style I was reminded back on Bethel you would pluck out the melody of the song "Dearly Beloved" from Kingdom Hearts. So it tried to emulate something magical like that, something that wouldn't be out of place on a Final Fantasy soundtrack. I love you broseph.

I stole a melody from Dream Without Sleep's song "Her," which is talking about what it means to love. The chorus lyric is "I hear a voice that sounds like my dad, he says to love's to give up everything." So I wanted to make an instrumental rendition for just for you. Love you daddy-o.

Dad's song

Merry Christmas momma! Your song is based off of the chorus of Him off of Dream Without Sleep's second record. The lyric that starts off the chorus is "my mother she reminded me, every breath is a blessing." So the chorus melody is a reminder of you.

Mom's song

Merry Christmas Kati! I based your song off of a melody line from a song that is going to be on Dream Without Sleep's second record. The song is called "Everything" and I wrote it the night we saw Catfish and the Bottlemen in the city and it always reminds me of you. <3 Plus I blatantly plagiarized a quote from you in the song so it's only fitting you get a piano rendition.
