Free-Calotek découvre la composition musicale avec l'apprentissage de la guitare à 13 ans en jouant principalement du métal et découvre la musique électronique en même temps. C'est à 14 ans qu'il commence à découvrir la tekno underground. Il commence à produire ces morceaux deux ans plus tard sur FL STUDIO en sortant Multiprise avec Archétype Tak.
