.defaultbox is back with the well done EP „Rise“ by label head Patrick himself under his new alias 10.000 BC. The EP is breaking boundaries and forming connections between ambient and timeless dub techno grooves. The EP opens with „7am“ which is an interplay of nature sounds, warm pads and breakbeats. „2pm“ is a colorful and warm journey into deep space. The EP closes with „3am“ which shows the tension between the organic warmth and uplifting energy of a dance floor track, followed by a heavy and thundery remix by the very talented Portuguese DJ and producer Robert Hoff.

Inspired by my late brother Paul a.k.a Stereolounge i decided to get into music producing being a DJ from an early age i wanted to follow in my bros footsteps, so i decided to learn to produce sound and through our label I have learned how the game works. It's all developed from there so i hope you enjoy our sounds!!!! :-)

PAUL O’ DONOVAN A.K.A STEREOLOUNGE (1979 – 2007)
How do we introduce Paul? Without sounding cheesy, he was Rock and Roll. He seemed to be missing that little voice in the back of his head that makes the rest of us hold back from going that extra bit further he put 110% into his art and his music and was my main influence in life and into getting so obsessed with the music industry. At a very early age I used to help Paul create his music i used to have a huge passion and love for his creativity as i saw alot of him in myself. Unfortunately in the year 2007 at just 27 years of age Pauls life suddenly came to an end and so I made the decision to bring it upon myself to get his music and artwork known to as many people as I possibly could. I got together family and friends who agreed to help me with the project. Luckily one of Paul’s good friends was a graphic designer so she helped put together a cover for the CD which included his artwork, photos of family and friends, words written by him before he died and also words written about him. I got his music mastered and the fourteen track album produced by a recording studio in Dunmore East.

Ladaeg, Italian artist debuts on Loopaina Records with an album of 6 tracks, an intro and 5 tracks full of strength, rawness, and forcefulness.

Raw Intention is a 6 track album built from overriding rhythms and compact themes.

1: The intro Preludio Incerto with this synthesizer that opens up and leaves room for the imagination.

2: Breaking Point is a compact track with very incisive and magmatic low ends, where random lasers start.

3: Colluttazione focuses on a harsh rhythm and a thunderous sub-bass, it engages you and takes you on its morbid journey.

4: Antitesi is an unusual track, which hypnotizes with its polyrhythm, changes minute by minute and is a continuous surprise.

5: Taiga Wind is dominated by the synth on Fm and the deep bass that drags you into them. In addition to making the track more fluid and 'breezy' there are these sweet but at the same time icy textures.

6: Modus Operandi is built on polyrhythms and sandy textures. The track is wooded but at the same time rugged and overwhelming, it crescendo until the end.
