They break the blur of life’s constant rush and remind us what matters. In a world that keeps pushing us forward, chasing what never lasts, rituals help us stop, breathe, and feel alive. They’re like a small death to the endless grind — a way of stepping off the treadmill, even just for a
moment.

The Hedonic Treadmill is a raw reflection on the chaos of modern life — a world addicted to speed, stimulation, greed, and endless craving. It’s a descent into the kafkaesque fast-frenetic world of consumerism and hijacked attention spans that we live in, striving to turn noise into signal. Blending dark industrial techno with ritualistic textures, Buddhist undercurrents, and the pulse of Moroccan folklore, the EP explores the tension between synthetic systems and ancestral memory. From warped mantras to distorted rhythms, each track spirals deeper into the mess — sometimes meditative, sometimes violent, seeking cleansing driven by storytelling and culminating in a cinematic climax.

PRMIERE: Hedon - Apocatastasis [VMNTR#078]

Julie Lojkine took up mixing at a point in life when most DJs have already left the scene. The name Mother came naturally: whispered in the clubs where she often played, until it simply became part of her. What was once a nickname became her identity. Mother began mixing industrial techno three years ago in the heart of Parisian LGBT nightlife, shaping her sound within the hard industrial Monasterio movement.

In recent months, she has drastically lowered her BPM to align with her first productions, soon to be released on @revokrecords: 4 tracks delivering an anguishing urge to dance, as if to exorcise the madness of a world falling apart. Her sets attempt to reconcile her new and earlier influences, merging the hard kicks of Eastern Europe with the organic percussions and trippy atmospheres of the original scene.

Mother is also the founder and resident of the FLINTA collective @techno_fatale. Julie Lojkine has recently played for Parisian well-known industrial events (Ghost Night, Monarch, T4P) in emblematic places such as the Monarch, Glazart or KM25.

CORPPO is a project by Celeste and Nicolás, DJs and producers born in Buenos Aires and currently based in California. His sound is rooted in deep, euphoric and avant-garde rhythms, always with a clear focus: generating unrestricted movement.
In 2025, they released Interno Fervor, an EP that reflects their sensitivity and influences, fusing textures from the past with a contemporary look. CORPPO builds a bridge between the classic and the new, keeping alive the raw essence of traditional tones while exploring new forms of expression.
