KILL YOUR EGO

This is my rendition of a theme for Spider-Man. I recently got in to creating orchestral music and one of the main inspirations for that was the music for the Spider-Man PS4 game and  it's composer, John Paesano. I wanted to take elements from that and attempt to combine it with other elements of other spider-man theme songs. Not sure if I actually did that, BUT I do think it came out pretty great in the end. I'm pretty proud of this and hopefully it evokes the same feelings it invokes in me when I hear it in you when you hear it. :)

About a month ago I had this resurgence of love for the Dark Souls soundtrack and it inspired me to write these two songs.  I listened to the soundtrack A LOT until it was suddenly taken down from the streaming platform I listen on. The songs were inspired by two boss fights. It.s not as obvious but "There Cursed King" was inspired by the Nameless King fight in dark souls 3. The second song, "Return to Cinder", was inspired by two fights technically. The Fight from the first Dark Souls game against the final boss as well as the final boss from Dark Souls 3. This song is VERY CLEARLY HEAVILY inspired by those two bosses. Pretty happy with how these songs came out. Hope you dig them as well, regardless of whether you're a fan of the Dark Souls games.

What A Year...
