Verse 1:
I hold this small piece, it feels so right,  
But in Your puzzle, it’s out of sight.  
I try to force it, to make it fit,  
For in my eyes it is the perfect mix 

Refrain :
I trust You’re placing pieces together,  
Every moment, every trial, every error 
When the piece I want won’t find its place,  
I’ll lean on You, seek Your grace.

Verse 2:
Frustration rises, my heart’s in distress,  
Why can’t I see the picture progress?  
I whisper questions, my spirit worn,  
And the answers I seek, I fear won’t form

“Let it be Your will,” I pray all day,  
As I wait I’ll learn to trust thy name.  
Though I can’t see how it all aligns,  
I’ll place my faith in Your perfect time.

So I’ll surrender, I’ll wait on You,  
With every heartbeat, I’ll stay true.  
temptation calls, i’ll remain strong, 
Trusting in Your love, Your will guides me along

She stumped along, and wagged her pate;
And said a thing was deperate.

Her face was screwed and wrinkled tight
Just like a nut – and, left and right,
On either side, she wagged her head

Was desperate as any word
That ever yet a person heard.

I walked behind her for a while,
And watched the people nudge and smile:
But ever, as she went, she said,
As left and right she swung her head,
“O God He knows: And, God He knows!
