Atmosphere and a melodic focus are key points for Nie Wieder Schlafen. Building a story and fill it with ambient sounds is what thrives this label. Sometimes it feels great, leaving the 4/4 rhythm, to concentrate solely on the musical dynamics of a production. Since Yoni Yarchi's beautiful "In Distant Places" has such a meditational vibe, it was clear we had to deliver a beatless version, for all of you that appreciate the soothing drafts of gentle melodies, that surround Yoni's productions. Yoni Yarchi - In Distant Places (Chill Sunrise Mix)

Second release, secondo lap, for the brand-new label Saturn Return. The coproduction between Robbie Akbal and Rowee fills the dance floors with dramatic melodies.
The lead synth seems to be perpetually shape-shifting, the overall mood is tense, powered by loops thick with bass and intensely hypnotic that you could listen to for hours.
After 3 minutes of straight clubbing, a ray of light enters with the voice of KnowKontrol, breaking the rules with soaring vocals like only he can.
It’s a fusion between the melancholy and the hopeful. Its deep reassuring embrace is hard to resist.

This kind of technique can cause dance floors to erupt. It’s unconventional dance music.

Dance Spirit signs the first remix of the label. The original's swung groove is replaced by a faster and straighter rhythm.
The clanging melody is amplified by a loud wall of bright pads, stabs full of touching tones and melodies that burrow into your brain. It will certainly get dance floors moving, opting for a heads-down vibe which splices jacking beats with twisted passages of psychedelic tones.

All galactic authorities are on high alert after the announcement that Uone and Western will release their debut declaration titled 'Lone Wranglers'. They say it's been behind the multiple encodings of dimension-hopping involving American Western broadcasts. If this is true, the Frontier will deviate into a new psychedelic realm, and the battle for our subconscious will begin.
 
The latest transmission is the title track it's all named after, 'Lone Wrangler'. That is a bold statement. Of course, it spells trouble, and the Council has sent an urgent Mind-Link to the Zealand Gun Slinger battalion for assistance. What they did next shocked everyone: They activated Out of Sorts.

Featuring Tonto, the Lone Ranger's mythical right-hand man, 'Lone Wrangler' is an astute prophecy for modern times. For Uone and Western, he embodies a clear message: choosing compassion and forgiveness over vengeance. Or as they say on 

Earth, right over wrong. The feeling is contemplative and the rhythm is radiosensitive. They have managed to capture the American myth and imbue it all over this broadcast. It points towards the pending release of a majestic manifesto. Be warned: It's only meant for those who can handle the truth.

Riding high on their legendary tales of gun slinging in the Silver Fern canyons, who could've predicted the involvement of Out of Sorts? But here we are. Their Gunslinger remix of 'Lone Wrangler' is intense. They imprint an authoritative gel all over the root material, a minor acid adhesive that will suck any heretic straight into its force field. It’s a deadly and fierce workout that accentuates why the Powers are taking Uone and Western's debut very seriously.

Madloch’s Sound Avenue imprint ushers in the summer season by showcasing new interpretations of Bigasti & Balad’s ‘The Days’. Originally released in August of 2019, it’s elegant motifs, wispy atmospheres and fluttery melodic concepts were well received by their fans and contemporaries. Still holding a place in the duo’s top five best selling tracks on Beatport, Sound Avenue now invites Nopi, B.A.X. and Jean Caillou to re-imagine the track. 

Returning to the label and providing the first interpretation of ‘The Days’ is Nopi. The Ukrainian artist first appeared on the Belgian imprint in February of this year with a remix of ‘Pearl’ by Paula OS. As the lead piece on the label’s ‘Re:Imagined #001’ release, it showcased Nopi’s individualities through a wealth of blissful concepts and organic design. Also laying claim to releases on Akbal Music, Kindisch and Seven Villas, Nopi now returns to Sound Avenue with a powerful rendition of ‘The Days’. Taking a cue from the original Nopi crafts a full groove and smooth rhythmic core. Nostalgic in nature, the piece flows through a storyboard of charged rhythms, luminous tones and fragmented vocals, before shifting energy into a transcendent break. Delicate yet buzzing, the centrepiece expertly melts down into a dramatic build as acid-like synths and a wave of noise spark a rousing finale.

Also making a welcome return to the label is B.A.X. who provides the second interpretation of ‘The Days’. The Vietnamese artist first appeared on Belgian imprint in January of this year with a remix of Madloch and Subnode’s ‘Lion’s Mane’, before delivering his ‘Serenade to Earth’ EP in April. Classically trained and borderless in his approach to production, the Ho Chi Minh City resident has also found a home on fryhide, Manual Music and Sound Avenue affiliate 3rd Avenue. Always a creative remixer, B.A.X. now returns to Sound Avenue, taking ‘The Days’ into his world of transcendent beats and impassioned melodies. Warm rhythms, clattering percussion and redolent bass set the course for this charming journey. Emerging chord stabs and rising atmosphere soon engulf the groove, saturating your senses in the process, before a heavenly break furthers its emotive lean onwards to a spine-tingling finale. 

Completing the release and providing the third and final interpretation of ‘The Days’ is Jean Caillou who returns for his second appearance. Hailing from Zurich, the Swiss artist first appeared on the Belgian imprint in November of last year with a gorgeous remix of Joe Miller’s ‘The Last of the Great Days’. Renowned for his deep, romantic storyboards, Jean has also showcased his music on Magician On Duty, Sag & Tre and Underyourskin Records. Often splitting time between deep house and electronica, the Swiss artist opts for the latter here with a reflective take on ‘The Days’. Fresh and emotive in equal measure, it’s a collage of exotic percussion, sprawling vocal gates and dusty electronics which captivate across the nine-minute journey. Soulful plucks and luminous tones expand the musical narrative, gently washing over the framework and ultimately closing the release out on a heartfelt note. A gorgeous remix from Jean, capping off a deep and dreamy remix edition for Bigasti & Balad’s ‘The Days’.
