The second reissue is for Electronic Streets EP by Addex that was out 11 years ago in 2011 on Proton sublabel Apollo. And to mark the release number 50 on our label, besides the original tracks that were release then, a new version of organic house will be included in this EP. The four tracks are: a new 2022 Version of original mix, the dub mix, the original and Tournament track from the original EP.

The 2022 Version brings the melodic house style to a slower 120bpm pace, comparing to original from 123bpm. The melody line and a bit of vocals are still there while other elements were included, like new bassline or pianos. Both the original and dub versions were also a bit re-mastered, and the last track Tournament was slowed down from 124 bpm to 122 and.

As TOR continues to set a strong early foundation, we head to the Meditteranean for an EP bursting with summer flavor and genuine energy. Collaborations are a pillar of the label program at When We Dip, as they capture the community and collective essence of electronic music.

Greek aficionado VieL has garnered a stellar reputation for groove and melody through a string of projects with Tale & Tone, Hoomidas, and Akbal Music. Joining him in the drivers seat are Italian comrades Madraas; a revamped moniker for a longtime partnership, who’ve graced the likes of Soundgarden and Ready Mix Records. The three seasoned producers have come together for a top drawer project, joining TOR in the presentation of the Vires EP.

Setting the stage is the release’s title track, Vires. We dive right into the groove as a crisp kick sets the mood for a track brimming with low frequency. The haunting basslines are infectious, as light percussive rhythms and strings bring character to the breakdown. A late-night tune for vibey dancefloors.

Roques harnesses melancholic melodies for a smooth and dreamy affair. A simple vocal loop plays along in background, as natural textures and swirling synths keep listeners' minds moving.

Rounding out the trio, Omnes brings heady percussion and piano work. Rhythms rotate from the start, and a playful melody brings a sense of cohesiveness to the EP’s closing.

Subtle vocal chants, gentle guitar riffs and playful recordings of the youth create a soulful feeling, that envokes a smile on our faces with ease.

The duos style fuses a range of influences from Disco through to House & Deep Techno depending on the time, space and environment.
