A musical journey into the Bizzarro Universe takes us through a diverse spectrum ranging from Indie Dance and House to Italo Body Music.

Skillfully blending retro nostalgia with a modern touch, they are an integral part of the German Neo Italo scene. 

With electrifying sets and productions characterized by rolling basslines and vibrant synths, they have captivated audiences at festivals like Fusion, Bucht der Täumer, Wilde Möhre and Pavoia, as well as in clubs such as Sisyphos, Ritter Butzke, KitKat, Kater Blau, Südpol, Übel & Gefährlich, and Odonien. 

Their dancefloor-focused productions found their way to labels like Bordello a Parigi, Laut & Luise, Mélopée Records, Feinstoff, Club Mackan and Discotexas.

NYC-based producer and DJ Lauren Ritter (All Day I Dream, ReSolute, Rift Vision) returns to her roots with “Antigone // Sarus”, a new EP featuring two emotive, nostalgic, and melodic original compositions, “Antigone” and “Sarus,” that are sure to please fans of her All Day Dream 2015 debut Lark EP and her recent Rift Vision output alike. “Antigone” is an ever-evolving, bubbling, and driving number that showcases her classical music training and sensibilities, while “Sarus” is an airy, serene, glittering, and uplifting complimentary composition. Lauren invites friends Powel (DE – All Day I Dream) and Zone+ (BH – All Day I Dream / Satya / Mixcult) to provide their takes on both tracks, who each weave in dynamic grooves and vocal elements in their signature styles to underscore Ritter’s melodic motifs.

Lauren Ritter unveiled her imprint Rift Vision in 2020 during lockdown and has since released three emotive EPs encompassing her own solo compositions, collaborative works with Oakland-based poet Tenesha The Wordsmith (On The Corner), and remixes by lauded talent such as Octo Octa, Lawrence, Jenifa Mayanja, and Rrao. Stay-at-home DJ no more, Ritter has been back DJing in full force, with appearances incl the Zamna festival NYC, Do Not Sit Miami, Shameless Seattle, Public Records NYC. 2024 kicked off with a long-awaited return to Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream label, with Ritter being featured in their winter compilation. This year will include more releases from Lauren, including another EP entitled Blue Nine on Rift Vision in November.

BIO
Frankfurt based DJ, producer, curator and event manager Shia LaBiff, known amongst his peers as Michèl Dion Baltin, has a huge repertoire of music and influences which he is constantly sharing for more than 20 years.
Starting in early age with Indie, Post Punk and New Wave he soon discovered the joy of electronic club music and started following the path of New Order, Primal Scream and Andrew Weatherall into a new beat driven world. 
You will hear shades of Italo and Electronic Body Music, New Beat, Acid House, Techno and New/Cold/Synthwave in his mixtapes or DJ sets. His event and guest mix series Blank Wave is providing artists like Perel, Lauer, Shubostar, Que Sakamoto, Rotciv, Moderna and Skelesys – just to name a few.

Press Info: "You Plus One’s first EP of 2019 is an epic four track smoker! Adding to our growing multinational music catalog we now feature Turkey’s newest deadly duo Men With A Plan. Lotus Eater EP is a combined effort of solo artists Can Çakmakç and ORDA, who have already previously gained support from techno gods such as Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, and Joris Voorn, as well as progressive legends Nick Warren, Sasha, and John Digweed. This EP embodies their own very unique, dense style they describe as “slow burn” and we call “fire”.

“Lateral” is a slow and steady build of dark angelic tension piercing through smoky clouds; the perfect introduction track. The ORDA edit brings emotion and melody to the track through synthesized witchcraft with an explosive and uplifting climax sure to be a crowd favourite.

A true slow burn with infinite horns upon horns, heavy drums, and held pads make “Prone” a great choice for that eyes-closed, head-down, sweat-dripping-off-the-walls dance floor moment. 

“Supine” is You Plus One label boss Siavash’s favourite cut of this EP to play in the after hours. A track with beastly attitude that builds with growls, arps, and gunsmoke sitting on a bed of heavy low end rumble.
