Viaje Astral (Astral Journey) represents the closest sound experience to what I lived on November 16, 2016, in Tepoztlán, Mexico, during the night of the Super Moon, which opened like a portal for my soul to leave my body. I can't find words to describe the journey; it was literally the turning point of my life within an ascending toroid. That's why I created this tribute to share my experience. Within it, it's crucial to highlight three very important things that we still preserve on planet Earth: Nature, Children, and Music. These are the three things through which I felt that God, the giant white whale full of love (metaphorically), gave us a second chance to live, as lifeless planets fall into darkness, into oblivion. It's a great blessing and opportunity that we have as human beings to rescue what we are. In these times of war with ourselves, let's seek love. Because love is life.

Viaje Astral representa la experiencia más cercana en sonido a lo que viví el 16 de noviembre de 2016 en Tepoztlán, México, durante la noche de la Super Luna, la cual se abrió como un portal para que mi alma saliera de mi cuerpo. No encuentro palabras para describir el viaje; fue literalmente el giro de mi vida dentro de un toroide ascendente. Por eso he creado este homenaje para compartir mi experiencia. Dentro de él, cabe rescatar tres cosas muy importantes que aún conservamos en el planeta Tierra: la Naturaleza, los Niños y la Música. Estas son las tres cosas por las que sentí que Dios, esa gigante ballena blanca llena de amor (metafóricamente), nos brindó una segunda oportunidad de vivir, ya que los planetas sin vida caen en la oscuridad, en el olvido. Es una gran bendición y oportunidad que tenemos como seres humanos de rescatar lo que somos. En estos tiempos de guerra interna, busquemos el amor. Porque el amor es la vida.

Unsere Nr. 134 kommt heute von einem amerikanischen Künstler, der mich seit 3 Jahren ununterbrochen musikalisch begleitet. Ich erinnere mich noch sehr gut an seine damalige Bunring Man Aufnahme… Sie haute mich schlichtweg um. Seitdem komme ich nicht mehr um Ihn herum. 

Die Rede ist von „Atish“, einem ehrlichen und unkomplizierten Künstler, der keinen geradlinigen Weg ging. Anfangs noch Programmierer für Facebook, entschied er sich vor knapp 10 Jahren selber Musik zu mixen, wie seine unzähligen Mixe belegen. Anders als viele andere Künstler, die gerne ihre so genannte ‚peinliche‘ Anfangszeit verheimlichen möchten, sind bei Ihm tatsächlich noch alle Mixe zum Anhören verfügbar. Dass er damals wie heute seinem Sound gleich geblieben ist, spricht umso mehr für diesen sympathischen Menschen. 

Sein Coming Out hatte er 2012, als er auf dem Robot Heart art-car spielte. Seitdem ging es steil bergauf. Tokio, New York, Istanbul, Berlin,…um nur einige Stationen seines vollgepackten Kalenders zu nennen.

Aber auch in seiner Wahlstadt San Francisco treibt er weiterhin sein Unwesen. Und wie!!! Neben dem etwas anderen Clubformat mit dem Namen ‚Late night tonight!‘, einer Mischung aus Talk-Show und Club Party, gründete er auch das Label ‚Manjumasi‘. 
Und wäre dies nicht schon genug, feilt er in jeder freien Minute an kommenden Releases und Remixen. Tendenz steigend. Sowohl in Qualität, als auch in Quantität. Wir sind gespannt.

Das von Ihm eingespielte Set ist eine herrlich ‚afterhoureske‘ Reise ins Dickicht der melodischen und verträumten elektronischen Musik. Das sich Atish für dieses Set etwas ganz besonderes einfallen lassen hat ist unüberhörbar. Ich war beim ersten Hören des Sets tatsächlich komplett geflasht, hatte ich doch etwas anderes erwartet. Aber diese Überraschungsmomente, die unsere Reihe und die jeweiligen musikalischen Interpretationen immer wieder mit sich bringen, hauen mich, nein uns, immer wieder um. Darauf darf man auch ein wenig Stolz sein. Vor allem wenn man am Ende ein ganz außergewöhnliches Set erhält. So auch hier. Schnallt euch an… Ich kann mich nur wiederholen, aber es erwartet euch eine Reise durch verspielte, sehr deepe und hypnothische Felder, wie gemacht für eine tanzbare Afterhour sind. Das gabs bei uns schon lange nicht mehr….seid gespannt.

Our very first EP "Energy Patterns" was a convincing first release, not least because of an amazing remix from our good friends over at PHCK. Since then, the guys have developed a massive new sound, included talented singer & instrumentalist Stefan Kling into the project and showed the world what they are capable of. 

With highly praised releases on All Day I Dream, Connaisseur and Chapter 24, the guys return with quite the reputation. Naturally, we collaborated on a highly ambitious project, which finally resulted in a massive 8 tracker EP, including a thrilling collaboration with Bona Fide and remixes from rising stars El Mundo, Fulltone, Rauschhaus, Savvas and Death On The Balcony.

PHCK’s collaboration with New York-based talent Bona Fide leads us into a smooth and creamy finish with „Magnolia“. Emotive strings, moody field-recordings and supporting vocal elements form a broad and sanguine space. Tight percussions and a steady bassline pattern unify the soundscapes and bring all parts together for a warm, production, perfect for the upcoming summer.

"Magnolia" received a respectful rework from Savvas, as he elevates the melodic structure and its emotional foundations with gentle care. A tightened groove and minimalistic sections slightly shift the overall vibe and bring fresh energy. A remix that drives close to the core elements of the original, while doing more than enough to deliver something new.
