Actually the more i  listen to your version its better than the original.  Ive listened to a few other versions on spotify but yours is by far the best.  Amazijg work. 

I always wondered how the final conpleted song would have sounded like cause the demo in itself is so beautiful but you're take on it is an absolute delight to listen.

You probably did not know this but I also compose songs and I am tentatively exploring how to manifest these in the context of the Gifts From Crows sound. The first of these is called 'Ancient Mariner', featuring the talented vocalist Bethany Grace. Even more intriguing though is the fact that it is going to be included in a soon to be released film by Phil Strongman.

HONG KONG BLUE is the first feature-length movie within the new 'Found Noir' genre - a genre based on using out-takes, found footage, narration, music and stills to create a compelling tale. Using only a handful of actors - usually just in voice overs - Found Noir takes film back to its original purpose; the direct telling of relevant modern stories. ..'

'TheDelta57' came up with a great idea for a track and was kind enough to let me get my hands on it. When I had finished playing around, I asked Skyline Tigers if she was interested in coming up with some lyrics (shown below) and singing on it. Luckily for everyone, she was and wow, what a fantastic job she did. Her voice is just incredible on this.

Trouble

The full length instrumental version of my new song! 

It took a while longer than expected to get up because somehow the Cloud lost my session?! So I had to start from scratch :( This is the second recording I made just yesterday. It only took one day to make this!

Heavy AD/DC influence on this one :) One of my fav bands :))
The reason I wanted to play guitar was because of Angus Young, so why not make something that sounds similar to his style of playing :D

Like There's No Tomorrow (Instrumental)

This is a version of the unfinished song originally recorded by Jeff Buckley, son of Tim Buckley, and Elizabeth Fraser of the Cocteau Twins.

The two recorded a rough demo of this beautiful piece during their short-lived time together, however it was never formally released or even properly recorded. Sadly, Jeff Buckley died in 1997 at the age of 30. 

As beautiful as the song is (and how can it not be with those 2 angelic voices singing), I have always been left with the impression that it isn't actually finished and it deserves to be so. In short, I think that there is an opportunity to bring this song to a much wider contemporary audience and, in doing so, draw attention to the great legacy of these 2 artists.

For this version we have retained the opening lyric, “My eyes are baptism” and the chorus but created a new narrative for the song.
