eatmybeat are back with a big one; coming straight out of Vancouver is Destrata with his new project titled ‘Tributaries’.

Destrata began creating music a few months prior to lockdown. Having only ventured into production in the last 2 years or so, we were taken aback at the incredibly high quality of Destrata’s compositions. The ‘Tributaries’ project landed in the inbox earlier this year and has been on heavy rotation ever since. It features three thick and juicy cuts of bass and techno. We had to call on the man of the moment Pluralist to step up and pattern a remix of the title track.

For our second installment in ZOO VISITOR mixtape series we have SAMIRAHIM who got so inspired by NEFFA-T @ ZOO4 that they made this mixtape! BIG UP! This is exactly how we want it to go!
WARNING: This hi-energy mix is extremely catchy and can cause heavy leg shaking!

Samirahim started deejaying in 2017, and has since become deeply rooted in the Helsinki underground. Having a long background in classical violin, their sets are often meticulously prepared and curated from thousands of hand-picked tracks. Their style can be characterized by high-energy mixing of various genres and surprising blends. Besides music, Samirahim's interests lie in the field of neuroscience with studies in both capital area universities. They are currently also spearheading the long-standing Hytky collective.

During this spring, Samirahim has been shifting more into the bass-heavy sounds of the UK, something they originally started djaying with. The guestmix is mixed on 3 decks and consists of mostly new selection with a playful focus on grime, dubstep and rowdy refixes.  We can hear the Neffa influences in this mix and we like it a lot. Enjoy!

Artist dj annita is known for her genre defying mixes, where intricate off-kilter rhythms don't contradict a sweaty dancefloor. She loves gritty breaks and wobbly bass, hyperpop and cloudcore. Simão and his friends get together every summer to unite as "Ant Gang" and host a small festival dedicated to soundsystem culture. ENAIRA qui débarque en full schuss dans le collectif, nous propose un set aussi juteux que ses plantes grasses. Les majestueuses Monsteras s'entremêlent lentement, une croissance Down Tempo qui pousse et se croise avec les Philodendrons pendouillantes s'agitant en Tribal Grooves. En s'entrechoquant doucement, ces deux espèces dégagent un chant provoquant des Breaks Electro-statiques. Le pH de la terre arrivera, peut être, à de l'Acid Electronica, tout en contrôle pour que les sédiments se déposent finalement en couches d'Alternative Trance.

Ses racines soniques varient de la hard trance aux down tempos cosmiques, enveloppants de drums rondes 💚💚💚

ENAIRA, arriving full speed in the collective, offers us a set as juicy as her succulents. The majestic Monsteras slowly intertwine into a Down Tempo growth pushing and crossing with the dangling Philodendrons waving in Tribal Grooves. By gently colliding, these two species release a song causing Electro-static Breaks. The pH of the earth will, perhaps, arrive at Acid Electronica, while totally in control so that the sediments are finally deposited in layers of Alternative Trance.
