Beton was founded in 2011 in Basel, Switzerland. The trio is working in the fields of electro-acoustic improvisation, noise and ambient. From the very beginning the idea of Beton was to experiment with sonic material and musical forms. Their sound merges elements of electronic music with sustained drones, frantic saxophone and enigmatic field recordings. Improvisation has always been a key element to them and has led to a strong focus on the processuality of music. Following this approach, collaborations with other musicians and artists have become an integral part to the band. Thus, Beton has never had a set or product to present in a concert; every show is a singular event of sound.  

In 2015 they will release their first Album.
