Betsy started taking classical piano lessons when she was five years old, at a music school in her home town St. Catherine’s. She progressed quickly, completing her Grade Five Conservatory Test and Preliminary Theory certificates by the age of thirteen. Around this time she also began taking formal vocal lessons.
Rebecca loved music and singing as a child, and when she wrote her first song in grade four, her creativity began to grow and develop. Her performances are primarily acoustic, consisting of both original songs and covers.
