The Wren/Riding on a Load of Hay

These are traditional waltzes from the Isle of Man, Arrane Ghelby, a tune rumored to have its origins in the wind from the sea, and the second tune is Ushag Veg Ruy.   Sky Korber on fiddle, Bette Korber on whistle and guitar. Manx Waltzes

My son Sky was home for the fall, and we decided to put together a CD  just for the fun of it.  Scott Shane recorded it for us, and Lisa Carman guided us in recording the songs. We thank them for their gracious input and their infinite patience. Sky and I love traditional music, so most of these tunes are very old -- close your eyes and go on time travel. But 4 of the tunes are my own, and one is by Gordon Keating.  We also thank our friends in Roaring Jelly and Connie Manhattan, for sharing so many fine tunes with us.
