The white walls were illuminated by the glow of the morning sun. They appeared a stark contrast to the royal blue texture of the sky which radiated warmth in the early hours. Birds soared eagerly upon the breeze above the water down below as the flickering leaves of palm trees blew gracefully in the wind. It was a beautiful scene, like something from a picture book or postcard. Soon this would all be gone. 

Deepwave are set to release a new EP from Sebastian Deluca, however it was the remix from label boss Ian Metty which caught our upmost attention.

Coming in hot off WhoMadeWho’s Watergate 26 Mix and the first EP following it, we present the second of three EP’s of featured material from the compilation split into vinyl and digital formats. 

Starting with the vinyl instalment we see WhoMadeWho and Ruede Hagelstein kick things off with their elegant and sexy Björk cover ‘Violently Happy’ before the mesmerizing hypnotics of Ruede Hagelstein and Justin Evans’ ‘Love Over Pyramids’ take center stage. isolée returns to Maeve with his second solo release following the success of 2017's "Mangroove EP". 

Spanning four tracks, "Candy Apple Red EP", shows different sides to the German artists signature micro sound. The A1, "mad marauder" leans on a big room feel while still possessing all the intricacies of production isolée has become known for over his distinguished career. The title track comes on the A2, "candy apple red", a jovial trot through a languid land of disco-house. 

The flip side starts with, "you are", a sub terrain deep house number with all the feels of an isolée cut. Rounding things off on the B2 is "Jordi", a darker trip into the dancefloor, perfect for the small hours.
