Spindrift

What links the northernmost Scottish islands other than the north Atlantic’s ocean currents?  A shared Viking heritage with its passion for life, love, and yes, melancholy, shaped by generations at home and in exile, but always expressed beautifully through their individually rich and creative cultures.  So, what would happen if they were brought together?

An Lanntair’s first exploration between islands handed the baton to three unique songwriters; Kris Drever from Orkney, Arthur Nicholson from Shetland and Willie Campbell from Lewis - and following a couple of intensive writing sessions in Shetland and Lewis the result is a fabulous selection of new songs. Three fabulous individual voices which when merged offer spine tingling harmonies which can only come from incredible musicianship.
