Betweenzone, a pioneering duo composed of EAST (Guitars, Vocals, Synth, Production) and Dave M. Rile (Vocals, Synths, Programming, Production), has been at the forefront of musical innovation since their formation in the mid-90s. Their journey, characterized by a deep passion for experimentation and evolution, has seen them traverse a variety of musical landscapes, establishing a unique and evolving sound in the industry.

Beginning with explorations in Electronic, Dance, and Experimental genres, Betweenzone set the foundation for a diverse musical career. This journey reached a pivotal moment with the release of their critically acclaimed debut album "Full Artificial Intelligence" in 2018. The album, a blend of electronica, progressive rock, and alternative rock, showcases their unique sound that draws comparisons to artists like Filter and The Smashing Pumpkins.

"Full Artificial Intelligence" features tracks such as “Endless Me,” which blends potent fuzzy guitars with Rile’s distinctive tenor, and “Please Come Down,” showcasing their progressive rock influences with layered guitar licks. The album was lauded for its complex harmonic textures and solid rhythms, marking a significant milestone in Betweenzone's musical evolution.

In 2020, Betweenzone released the EP "Mosaical," an artistic and experimental tour de force. The title track "Mosaical," nearly twenty minutes long, is an epic musical journey, blending emotive progression with sensational guitar work and an experimental edge. "Contamination Procedure 2020," another track from the EP, merges electronic elements with intense guitar tones, creating a captivating and dynamic soundscape. 2023 saw the release of "Means Of Control," a concept album delving into themes of personal freedom. The album confronts topics like religion and control, especially in the opening track “Brothers And Sisters.” It also includes unique covers of "Golden Brown" by The Stranglers and "I Feel Loved" by Depeche Mode, demonstrating their versatility and ability to reinterpret classics. The album is a reflection of years of artistic development and showcases their boldness in lyrical content and thematic exploration.
