The Psychic Liberation show aims to document and recount information through conversations with artists working within sub, and sometimes countercultural, connective musical or otherwise creative communities. This is a template worth reflection as we enter a further atomizing digital age wherein the role of in-person connectivity is actively subverted and co-opted by convenient social interfaces. This program aims to create a model by which inspiration and information can be pulled from and applied to aiding burgeoning communities regardless of form, content, or make-up.

Produced as a part of the exhibition MAGAZINE curated by Nicholas Tammens at the Kunstverein in Hamburg.

The waters were crystal clear and calm. The weather had been kind to them; what a perfect day to explore the ocean. Below the surface, a whole other world awaited them: schools of brightly coloured fish darted in their masses between the vibrant coral, kelp and anemones that dotted the seabed, while turtles effortlessly glided through the water around them. If only they could live here amongst the sea life they thought to themselves - things would be so much simpler. 

For their fourth outing, Birmingham-born, Bristol-based imprint space•lab are bringing Rambal Cochet into the fold. Perfectly placed for the label's wiggly groove-driven output, the Ukrainian producer - who also makes music under the alias Volta Cab - serves up four slices of psychedelic progressive trance. Laced with spaced-out atmospheres and propelled by rolling drum patterns and subaquatic acid lines, Galatians Syndrome is one for the heads down dancers.
