Aside from his Grammy and excellent work as a producer and engineer, John is also famous for writing the hit Duran Duran track Ordinary World, amongst others.

Looking back on this song, it was a pretty obvious reaction to the pressure we were under from the record company at the time and the still-lingering culture shock that was affecting me....well.....that and the vast quantities of booze the band were drinking at the time...
