This long-lost track – featuring the core rhythm section (Earl Young – drums, Ronnie Baker – bass guitar, Norman Harris – guitar, Lenny Pakula – organ, Larry Washington – percussion, Vince Montana, Jr. – vibraphone) that defined Philly soul’s golden era – has been pulled from the vault and reimagined by renowned DJ and remixer Eric Kupper. The result is a vibrant fusion of original funk, soul, and disco grooves with a fresh house-oriented polish, poised to inspire a new generation of listeners.

I Operate in Purple weaves together inspirations drawn from hundreds of visited cities, thousands of parties, and countless life moments, that have helped shape his vibrant journey. Yousef's album purposely features original songs, live vocals, and collaborations with world-class musicians, all of which help Yousef celebrate both his personal evolution and the future of his colourful house music, squarely and ambitiously aiming I Operate in Purple to be considered as important as the classic dance music albums he was so inspired by in the late 90's. Each of the 14 tracks comes with its own 3D story, expertly brought to life by Vulture - Indonesia's finest visuals team. The third single to drop from I O P is Higher Place, once again a collaboration with Brighton trio ‘Kuuda’. Higher Place is an anthemic and joyful original singalong that’s carried by on a powerful disco infused house juggernaut. A certain nameless electronic music star loved the track so much he made his own version for Yousef as a gift!  This has summer festivals written all over it. Simply huge!
