Well, here we go, the first track I am feeling very confident about sharing with you guys. This is called Bless Ya Heart. I wrote it in my 4th month of pregnancy, this was well before I decided to share the good news. I was really afraid that the people I was working on music with would ghost me and want to stop working, because I was building a baby in my body, and according to the music industry, a pregnant woman is just unsellable. So I hid it. And instead I wrote subliminal messages in my song about moving back home and starting fresh in this new chapter of life.  This is one of my absolute favorite songs from this period in my life. I was so inspired, and for the first time in years, I was not experiencing depression. That Amadeus was a Godsend from jump! Now because I want you guys to really feel where I was coming from, I'm also including the lyrics to every song I post here from now on <3

So very sorry for the wait guys, here is the next little taste I'm putting out there. It's a very rough demo, as the song has yet to be fully finished, but it's just so nice I just had to share! 

This song was written while I was about 4.5 months pregnant. No one knew still, but I was feeling so full of love at this stage, even though it was all in secret.  Now normally, I'm an extremely angsty songwriter, but during this time of my life, I was being ridiculously positive. SO even now, looking back on these songs, it almost feels like someone else wrote them. 

The lyrics tell a very simple story - no matter what you're going through I'll always be there for you and have your back.  I almost think I was writing this song more about myself and how I imagine my son will care for me when I'm at my lowest points. When I'm feeling ultra depressed it's so difficult to love myself so the lyrics just say when you don't have enough love, I have more than enough to carry us both through the rough patches. 

It's such a great message that I hope a lot of you will be able to relate to.
