Taking the name from a native species of flower, Pandorea is an ode to our country’s flourishing minimal music scene and a platform through which we can celebrate the sounds of our own landscape. 
 
The first release is a V/A compilation showcasing the distinct sonic identity of four artists who have been an integral part of Mantra Collective’s musical vision. We present a compilation from with music from Melbourne’s Cooper Dodge and Thomas David in addition to Sydney’s Tiril and Mike Watts. Mastering by David Harman, Artwork by Ature

Among the numerous mysterious and hidden by the shadow secret alias that has been exploding in popularity over the last couple of years or so, Canadian drifting.dubs has been a pleasant surprise when he reached our ears. Everything that we know about him is that he comes from the cold Calgary, and that could be one of the reasons that locked him into the studio to focus on dubby, refined and deep productions.

Starting with the obviously titled #1.0, the track kicks nice and deep with a minimalistic flavour that penetrates into every piece of the EP. Some dull pads cover the mid-section, whilst a delicious gloomy groove keeps the beat up, also thanks to a generous dose of reverb on the drums. The track struts enveloping the ears with rare minimal refinement, making gradually reveal few but essential elements such as extra hi-hats and subtle percussions.

A child of the 80’s, Bexu has been awash in electronic music since as far back as he can recall. From deep within the timbered valley of Cluj-Napoca, he has steadfastly been at work in the studio crafting his own sophisticated take on the nascent Romanian minimalism he grew up around. His unique style tends to surprise even seasoned listeners through its delicate, unfolding intricacy poised over powerful functionality, as basslines and synths warble and intertwine through flashes of 90’s synth-wave, casting spells and tantalizing darker, urban moods with his clever use of found-sound samples and percussive hyperplay.
