Finally here is my set from Cirque Magique 2015 !

In case you missed it, here it is. If you were there, you now can relive the moment again. Just close your eyes and let me take you back to that moment ;)

I played at the Kuvo Stage, hosted by Igor Vicente's State Of Flow on Saturday 08/08/2015.

The intro was made together with Ode Maen and is taken from Fluffy Clouds by The Orb. Big thanks again for your help on this one, Ode!! It really was the perfect start for my set! <3

I played after Hulex, who just like me also won the dj-contest organized by Feestgedruis. Thanks for this amazing opportunity and experience guys! <3

Private Seven At Cirque Magique 2015 - State Of Flow Stage

After the last release from new kid on the block “Marc Holstege” we decided to come up with a sampler during the Amsterdam Dance Event.

This sampler is meant to be seen as a showcase for every producer on the EP, and for the label itself sound wise. You can hear the wide spectrum of music where the WEITER label stands for. A mixture between new talented producers, as well as some established WEITER artists who already released some great tracks on the label. There is no better way to celebrate our first sampler than during ADE, so lets go!

Kicking off with “Neya”,  a collaboration between two best friends Genii & Olivier Weiter. The track is driven by a hypnotic bassline, surrounded by warm soundscapes, dreamy effects and smooth, atmospheric synths. A typical “close-yours-eyes” moment in the break lets you flow away further into deepness, guided by a steady hook to keep the groove alive. Love is in the air on this one.

After “Colours”, and his latest “Disclosure EP” on WEITER, MOHN (NL) has proven himself again with “Childsplay”. With his signature bassline sound, the heavy melody on top and typical arrangement,  MOHN (NL) delivered a high energy peak-time track. You know the dancefloor is going to explode when playing this record on the right moment. “Childsplay” has it all.

Of course, Steve Banning couldn’t be missed on this compilation. A successful debut on WEITER with his “Mirage” EP, an amazing diverse three tracker, has lead to “Humble Truth”. Just like his first release, this track has all the elements in it to become a big one. Solid grooves, great build ups and of course the lead makes this track a perfect follow-up on his previous anthem “Mirage”. You won’t forget this one easy when hearing it! 

Their latest remix on WEITER got a lot of support worldwide, and without a doubt we are happy to have Formel on board again. With a lot of quality releases in the past, Formel is here to stay. With “Lemonal” they took care of the more deeper, darker and melancholic side of the label. Its moody, hypnotic, mesmerising. Perfect for those dark clubby moments. Going deep in the break, playfully programmed the arpeggio sound, it is trippyness at its best. Without loosing focus on the groove itself.. Formel is on fire!

Folie a deux is a new name on the label and definitely one to watch. With recent releases on Tach & Nacht & Cinematique, and remixing the boys from Formel, the sound from Folie a deux fits perfect within the WEITER label. With their track “Lunar”, they represent the more sinister, mysterious sound. With complex melodies, but a strong, powerful groove, combined with an almost eerie way of building up the track, Folie a Deux has found the perfect balance in “Lunar”. 

Last but not least, there is a new duo rising up. S.K.Y. are making their debut on the label with “Camels”. Immediately the bassline attracts the attention. It has a kind of happy, laid-back vibe, but the further the track goes, the more surprises you will hear. A lot of detail for every sound, combined with the catchy bassline and a small touch of darkness in the synths makes “Camels” a very playfull, but solid track, which you can play every moment in a set. This track definitely won’t be the last thing we hear about S.K.Y.
