This is a project which centres on the reworking of certain tracks, first written c1993 by a band that were together possibly less than a year. We called ourselves eclipse (A name that has subsequently been reused by certain other bands since)... 
We were Mike Gore, Paul Wainwright, Gary Hines & myself (Matt Pearce). If we'd have stayed together there would have likely been an album - we certainly had some good ideas... A demo was made consisting of four tracks...
We also played a handfull of gigs (Highlight probably being The Academy in Southport). 
Some of us carried on for a while and wrote further material some of which will be appearing here also. The name 'Goodnight Vienna' was bandied about for this - which consisted of Paul, James Wainwright (Paul's brother), Myself and briefly my sisters good friend Gemma Bishop. Eventually all this came down to a few rough recordings and some good memories...
Until recently, when Paul and I decided that some of these musical endeavours deserved to be heard.. Ably assisted by Ms Nuala O'hagan my fellow band mate in 'Rhyming with Orange'.
So this will serve as a glimpse into what might've been had we carried on... Ghosts from the Past...
