Mallorca-based DJ and producer Hurlee delivers a new 6-tracks EP coming up on GLBDOM.

All the tracks are different but what unites them is that you immediately want to move into the rhythm of solid drums and bright chords. Being inspired by a good old house from the 90-s, this music sounds modern yet warm and groovy.

Using of various drum machines and synthesizers such as classical Korg M1 and an iconic Juno 106 helped to create this kind of atmosphere of a party somewhere in New York in the late 90-s, with all its freedom and irrepressible dance moves.

Info: After two years DJ Matpat comes back with his next release, Pocket Locket. Serving a range of House Music from Mello to Pumping & Deep straight from the MPC to the Dancefloor, these tracks have been tested and run through. The Art Work by BAD is ripped from the Club Congress 9 Year Anniversary party flyer happening this month, in Philly, at VOID one of RA's Sacred Spaces.

Starting at the age of 13 with a crate of his big brothers records DJ Matpat has taken the time to develop a sound of his own rooted in House Music, all the while acquiring a wide breadth of musical knowledge to underpin his ethos of "playing the right song for the right moment". As a producer he has released on a range of different labels including Derrick Carter’s Persnickety All Stars & Stretch Armstrong's Plant Music. Mat's productions have gained support from DJs such as Kerri Chandler (dropping "Everybody Rise" on the Essential Mix), Maya Jane Coles, Lucy, Joris Voorn, & Busy P among others. Between fronting his label CLUBBY BOY & continuing his 9 year running party CLUB CONGRESS in both Philadelphia and New York, 2024 is looking to be an exciting year for the American producer.
