In order to raise awareness of the needs of indigenous peoples, we are happy to be part of this great initiative and to join forces with our amazing colleagues from different parts of the world to celebrate 'International Indigenous Peoples' Day'. 
 Indigenous peoples are inheritors and practitioners of unique cultures and ways of relating to people and the environment. They have retained social, cultural, economic, and political characteristics that are distinct from those of the dominant societies in which they live.  
 Covid-19 and its consequences are keeping the whole world on alert. For more than a year now, we have been seeing new waves of outbreaks in several countries and regions of the world. In this sense, 500 million indigenous people, in urban or rural areas of the planet are also at risk because of their social vulnerability. The risk of indigenous genocide in the midst of the pandemic is dizzying and can have serious consequences since viruses and diseases of this type have contributed to reducing the world's indigenous population over the centuries.

Thus, several podcast channels have joined forces to celebrate 'International Indigenous Peoples' Day'. This with a focus on donations for indigenous peoples affected by Covid-19 in Brazil led and managed by 'United for a Living Amazon', a volunteer movement made up of citizens and non-governmental organizations that have been working in the Amazon for decades, united for a common and urgent cause. Mika El is an armenian producer, who settled for several years in New York and currently calls  Moscow his base. Visiting different countries and exploring a variety of cultures, Mika El developed a unique soundscript. His sound blends the vibrancy of cultural music with tribal elements and contemporary deep beats & synths. He began his music career in 2017, releasing on a number of labels as Kosa Records and MÓNADA.

I allow... One stepping stone along our path to freedom is acceptance. 
Acceptance is not a passive way of making do with whatever is present. It is not a "whatever" attitude of resignation either, nor it's about liking or approving to something. Acceptance is a conscious choice to drop all forms of resistance to whatever has come present in the moment and making the most of it. Acceptence is about letting life flow and unfold without getting in the way. It is about being receptive rather than exerting resistance to what comes present. This absence of "resistance" not only saves us a lot of energy, but allows us to engage our reality in such a way that we can learn from it and go out strengthened. For many of us, our first impulse is to resist something that we do not like that comes our way. But when we do not work in cooperation with our here & now, our ego typically operates in a reactive mode to external circumstances, perceiving ourselves to be victims or winners in the game of life. But instead of focusing on the past or the future or wanting things to be different than they are, we can open to what is true in the here and now. This requires overriding the conditioned impulse and trust that facing this experience will have a specific value, that it is for us and not against us. It's about trusting yourself to rise to whatever occasion presents itself to you. It is about being open to ALL of life, knowing that it all has value whether you like it or not.

Carlos garcía es el fundador de este proyecto dedicado a transmitir y rescatar diferentes facetas de la música sudamericana incluyendo cánticos de civilizaciones antiguas, instrumentos prehispánicos y sonidos atmosféricos.

Xaman es un proyecto que, si bien puede considerarse underground, es aún más underground de lo underground porque no sólo se mantiene al margen de lo comercial en nuestros tiempos, sino que también tiene una finalidad que se retroalimenta de su propio origen. He focuses mainly on slow emotional tracks with jazz, classical and ethnic touches. He’s worked with artists and labels on his first vinyl release that reissued 4 digital tracks. Make sure to follow his label for new unreleased material.

New year - new set! :DDD
With this spontaneous musical journey I wish you all a loving and truthful year 2021. What exciting times...without words. In the last few months my personal musical output wasn't been really in focus as I prepared myself for a self-sufficient future. Actually, I've been waiting and preparing for this scenario for half my life. I’m very grateful and so it was a great pleasure to play a spontaneous New Year's Eve set on the beautiful Costa de la Luz - Andalusia with a small caravan-tribe after a long time of not playing live. I didn't expect it to unfold so phääät. It all felt into place so nicely... and so some happy, colorful off-grid-lovers came together and created a welcoming space. 
At 8pm I sat down to my promo emails, some collected songs from the past two months and went through a few unreleased Monada gems from our awesome artists and at 10pm I was ready for a completely improvised journey. I love mixing sets with tracks that are almost unknown to me, so I'm able to start completely untethered and free. Free mind - free heart!
Et voilà.. here is my deep trippy slow-tech New Year’s Eve mix à la San Miguel. :))) Okay, before I write a novel here.... enjoy the set & much fun listening. I send a lot of love and clarity – On that note, let's welcome a human and natural 2021 full of love, acceptance and freedom of expression. <3

Carolina Mond aka. MØND es integrante de dos colectivos mexicanos: Womxn y Ruter Ltd. ambos en pro de la música electrónica en México. Activa en la industria musical desde temprana edad, ha participado en numerosos proyectos prestando su voz y co-produciendo todo tipo de música. En 2012 emigra a Berlin donde termina sus estudios para después adentrarse en el mundo de la música electrónica y el Club Culture. A partir de 2018 nace el proyecto MØND en donde intenta no encasillarse en un solo género sino busca su integración de manera orgánica para crear atmósferas y transportarnos hacia nuestro mundo interior, siempre de la mano de la música. Para ella es importante seguir explorando todos aquellos nuevos ritmos, expresiones musicales y sus fusiones, para así entender que como todo la música también está en constante evolución.
