The ephemeral magic created on vibrating dancefloors is bound to remain there, yet it transforms and lives on in the hearts and minds of those who created and bathed in it.

While recording such a happening can never capture all of its alchemical perfection, it may serve as a reminder of wonderful times shared.

This is a collection of moments that are part of the ongoing dream called BeYond.

Here's my late night set from a beautiful family feel gathering organised by the crew from Beyond. 

This was the last hurrah after a series of parties they did this summer, transforming an open lot into a cosy and safe dance floor dream. A very special vibe (all the way into the after, after hours) indeed.

Here's the recording of our set at the Trips & Ticks / Beyond Collective party at Mensch Meier a couple of weekends ago. We played 6:30 - 8:30 on the Theater floor and it was truly amazing to see so many people with so much energy and happiness so late on in the party. The sun was streaming through the windows, the cocktails were flowing, the faces were smiling and the vibe was perfect. So a big thank you to Beyond Collective and Trips & Ticks for inviting us and an even bigger thank you to all the dancers for sharing these two wonderful hours with us. 

Unfortunately there was a little problem with the mixer and sometimes when using the filter the sound got pretty distorted. But it only happened a few times so hopefully it's not too annoying in the recording.

Hope you have as much fun listening to this set as we did playing it!

Ist links noch rechts - oder oben schon unten? Zucken die Wände hinter mir und ist der Raum dort vorne frei beweglich?  
Wenn es wieder aus allen Richtungen langsam und doll hereinbricht dann hat der Löffelstiel sein Holz im Spiel.
 Schwingt mit seinen Drehung eure Beine bodentief, lässt sie knicken und euch knien und die Sohlen auf den Boden stampfen - lässt mit jedem Klingeln und Zirpen, mit Geplätscher und Pfeifen eure Finger ein und ausrollen - lässt eure Glieder krampfen und sich lösend strecken und abwechselnd in den verrauchten Lüften spielen. 
Wie ich mich bewegen kann weiß ich wirklich nicht genau, doch glücklich spielt der Löffelstiel mit meinem Körperbau.

In Gesellschaft meiner liebsten Menschen wurde ein kleiner Traum wahr. 
An einem sonnigen Sonntag, durfte dieses Set das Licht der Welt erblicken. 
Diese einstündige Reise ist das Ergebnis aus der wohl aufregendsten Zeit die ich seit langem erleben durfte. 
Genau heute vor einem halben Jahr, am 27.2, kam mir eine Idee, die mich auf einen neuen Weg bringen sollte. 

Nachdem ich auf dem Konzert von Islandman
zwei Stunden staunend den treibenden Klängen gelauscht habe, wusste ich: in diese Art von Musik will ich eintauchen.
Ich fing an mich musikalisch neu auszuprobieren und steckte all meinen Output in verträumte Melodien, bouncige Beats und atmosphärische Klänge. 
Nie zuvor hatte ich in so kurzer Zeit so viele neue Musik festgehalten. 
Nach ein paar Monaten hatte ich so viel zusammen, dass ich ein Set daraus basteln konnte. 

Vielen Dank an meine lieben Menschen von BeYond, dass ihr mir die Möglichkeit gegeben habt, meinen ersten Gig an einem so wunderbaren Ort zu performen. Was ihr aus dem gART'n gemacht habt war beyond fruity;) 

Ich freu mich auf alles was kommt!

Hello friends,

Here is the recording of my set at the Küstenrausch floor at Conscious Madness Festival. 
What a great energy it was ! Thank you so much, I really had a blast with you <3

I played a rather faster set, keeping my usual genre-blending and eclectic selection, this time with a lot of tracks with vocals and a good amount of madness.
I even started the set with an Indie disco track, because why not :) 

This was wonderful weekend in a truly unique and special event! Big thank you Conscious Madness for creating such a special festival and for leaving us the freedom to imagine a space by the lake. 
Co-creating on this stage with @crepitecollective , @beyondcollectiveberlin and @we-kuyen has been a fantastic experience. And big thank you for trusting me with the Saturday closing slot.

Farn @ Conscious Madness 2023 - Küstenrausch

Wenn gemeinsam Träume wahr werden... Was ein Festival, was eine Insel, was ne Crew, was ne Crowd und was ein morgen! Da ich mich erst vor 2 Jahren auf den Events der @mystic-tales-berlin in Downtempo verliebt habe, war es schon ultra schön zu hören, dass die Mystics uns vom BeYond Kollektiv dabei haben wollten um ihre schöne Insel in Polen in eine zauberhafte Parallelwelt zu verwandeln✨. Dass @thisisrakaethe und ich dann auch noch den Mainfloor für @hhaller einheizen durften war ein einziges Träumchen. Nur schön und unfassbar aufregend die eigenen Lieblingstracks und die ersten eigenen Produktionen auf so einer Anlage zu betanzen.  Und wieviele Lieblingsmenschen mit uns in der Hitze breit grinsend sich wild tanzend in der Musik verloren haben werde ich literally nie vergessen. Wir können die nächsten gemeinsamen Abenteuer kaum abwarten🚀

When dreams come true together... What a festival, what an island, what a crew, what a crowd and what a morning!  Since I fell in love with downtempo only 2 years ago at the Mystics events, it was super special to hear that the Mystics wanted us from the BeYond collective there to turn their beautiful island into a magical parallel world. That @thisisrakaethe  and I were booked to heat up the mainfloor for @hhaller was literally a dream come true. Just beautiful and incredibly exciting to dance to your own favorite tracks and your first own productions on such a sound system.  And I will literally never forget how many of our favorite people lost themselves in the music, smiling brightly and dancing wildly in the heat. We can hardly wait for the next adventures together.
Big big thank you to the @mystic-tales-berlin who made dreams come true for so many people in Poland. Only love to @beyondcollectiveberlin for the dreamlike family trip on this mystical island.

✔️ What are your musical Influences?

Over the last 10 years I have tried out a lot of different things musically. I played in bands for a while (guitar, bass and vocals), produced techno, hip hop and ambient and above all I paid a lot of attention to my own indie and folk songs. Electronic influences have always played a big role.

✔️ What makes a good Afterhour?

For me, a good afterhour is a soft landing. Taking people by the hand and creating the possibility to give them a place where they can slowly come to rest.

✔️ Thoughts about the set and the event you played?

The set was an attempt to combine two sides that I love about dancing in one hour. Both the exuberant bouncing and the dreamy swaying with closed eyes. 
The gig was my most intense performance so far. I always feel the atmosphere and the faces of the people when I hear this set. It was really indescribably beautiful.

Es war kurz nach 10.
Die MainStage hatte gerade ihre letzten Töne von sich gegeben als sich eine kleine Menge an Leuten vor uns in der Jurte versammelte. Wir spielten schon seit etwas mehr als einer Stunde. 
Viertel nach 10 und wir stellen mit Erstaunen fest, dass niemand in dieser Jurte am reden war.
Die Augen waren geschlossen.
Barfüßig schwebten die Menschen über die Teppiche.
Kuschelnd lagen oder saßen sie im Raum verteilt.
Es war eine perfekte Landung.

Diese Nacht wird uns beiden noch sehr lange in schönster Erinnerung bleiben. 

Wir freuen uns die gefühlvollen Klänge der Entschleunigung, aus der Sonntagnacht, mit euch zu teilen und träumen uns und euch in die Jurte zurück.
