8205 is back in 2022 with two records by an absolute legend of the scene - Bizzy B! One of the best, most distinctive and fiercely independent producers of the jungle/dnb era, Bizzy’s production chops are still the stuff of legend. The tracks on these EPs aim to showcase two different but equally important sides of Bizzy’s music: one more dark and experimental, the other upfront, slamming and jungle-oriented. 

Bizzy B - “Close Your Eyes” [8205-015] features three rough, raw and experimental tracks written on Amiga back in 1993, The title track, “Close Your Eyes” features some of Bizzy’s most intense and frantic breakwork ever (which is saying a lot!), and deep, dark, melodic elements that perfectly capture the vibe of the time. On the B side, “Darken My Lines” is a more straight ahead party stormer, with frantic beats, scratch samples and mental hoover twiss-ups (not a million miles from his classic tune “Twisted Mentazm”).  Finally, “Race Of Life'' finishes the record in a very different fashion. Far from a dancefloor number, “Race” is one of Bizzy’s most understated and experimental tunes of the era, taking his usual elements and transforming them into something haunting, deep and almost ethereal sounding. Very unique, and unlike almost any other tune of the era.

"Close Your Eyes" will be for sale June 17th, 2pm UK time on https://8205.bandcamp.com, available as either coloured vinyl or more limited black vinyl, with full black and white picture sleeves. The vinyl will be available exclusively from the 8205 bandcamp, with digitals for sale separately on Bizzy’s own site.
