M&M - Road To A State Of Trance 2025

Music has been my passion for as long as I can remember.
For every birthday and Christmas as a kid, my wishes were always the same—something music-related: a new radio, an MP3 player, or a fresh pair of headphones.

My love for trance music began early. When I was 15, I discovered legends like Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk, and I instantly knew that trance would be my music of choice for life.

Everything changed after I visited the holy ground of the trance world—Luminosity Beach Festival—in 2023. Something sparked in me. I fell even deeper in love with trance and developed a strong desire to experience it from the other side of the headphones. That's when I began creating mixes and officially became a trance DJ.

Since then, I've created over 90 trance mixes and had the honor of playing at several local events and Trance Family Slovenia gatherings.

This year, I returned to Lumi, and my love for trance is stronger than ever.

So now, I proudly present to you a mix that captures the essence of my journey over the past two years.

This week on Beyond The Stars, we welcome Serbian DJ & Producer Ivan Androyna.

Trance music producer Ivan Androjna was born on August 16, 1984, in Vršac, Serbia.
His journey into electronic music began with a deep fascination for instrumental compilations such as Dream Dance, Trance Inc., Mystery of Trance, and Tunnel Trance. It was love at first listen, and his passion quickly grew, inspired by legends like Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, ATB, 4Clubbers, Ferry Corsten, Cosmic Gate, and many others.

Ivan released his debut single Fly Far Away in 2016 through the Serbian label Cloud Of Silence. Over the years, he followed up with 11 more tracks under the same label, culminating in his full-length album The Colors Of My Life in 2021. His work later found a home on High Emotions Recordings, where he released two additional singles.

In 2014, Ivan launched his radio show project Fly With Trance, a platform dedicated to sharing emotionally charged, high-energy trance music. The project was born from a desire to highlight the emotional depth and timeless appeal of trance — music that stays with you, no matter where you are. Each edition features handpicked tracks, showcasing the best of the genre, with monthly highlights and special episodes that tell a complete story through sound.

Marko Lazić was born in August 1984 in Belgrade. He is a member of the Uplifting Trance Serbia team and the creator of the Trancelestial series.

He encountered trance music for the first time back in 1999, more precisely with one of the Goa Head compilations. Since then, his musical choice has been full-on, psychedelic, darkpsy, progressive and similar, and now it is mostly uplifting, vocal, and progressive trance. 

He hopes for a wide audience in Serbia and has the desire that one day a large number of people attend trance parties.

This week on Beyond The Stars, we travel to Scotland.
Say hello to Wayne McAndrew.

Like many DJs, Wayne started off mixing tunes in his bedroom before landing his first big break in 2009 at Kode Nightclub in Aberdeen.

From there, he hit the airwaves with his mixes featured on Scottish stations such as Nevis Radio and Shmu Radio.

In 2010, he linked up with the Aberdeen club night Frantik, hosting events at Franklyns Nightclub. By 2011, Wayne took over the Frantik brand and brought some incredible DJs to the city.

Between 2011 and 2014, he shared the stage with major names including Jason Cortez, Anne Savage, Claudia Cazacu, Simon Patterson, Mike Koglin, Jordon Suckley, and many more.

Beyond his own brand, Wayne has also played for:
Affinity, The Assembly, Stramash, Unit 51, The Tunnels, Distorted Euphoria Dundee, Filthy (Arbroath), Lets Trance (Inverness), and Edinburgh Underground.

Wayne’s uplifting and tech-driven trance style will leave you wanting more — always keeping you guessing what he’ll drop next.
