We recorded this at LBL in Western Kentucky. You can hear Dan snoring, we all were asleep.

The snoring is once again Dan and you can hear what sounds like a female and a male type voice. These LBL recordings were recorded in the early am hours.

This was the coyotes that came within about 100 yards of us during the live from the field show we did that night. You could hear them over the air during the show. Listen closely to the vocals at the end, some sound like screams. This recording came from our bionic ear about a half mile away, we were right down there with them.

This past Friday night, March 5th, Tammy (Bama LB) and I went to this secluded location that I had already known of from my years of "observing" within a 5 county radius, in North central Mississippi.

As soon as we arrived, she got out her recorder and waited until I had vocalized what I call my female "looting" call, which a booger will answer toward this time of the year. She punched the "record" button right after I vocalized and a booger responded immediately toward the northeast of our position, about a mile away. You can hear every response we recorded, even when the booger started traveling toward our position, vocalizing all along the way. During the course of it's travel you can hear where it approached under a tree and disturbed a owl who vocalized toward it, then as it got within 300 yards of our position, where it could visually determine that it was responding toward us instead of a "lonely," female, booger, it disturbed another owl who showed it's displeasure also. You can hear the vocalizations getting closer during the whole recording without turning up the volume of your speakers.

This vocalization is what I call a "looting" or location call. It is used to "locate" another BF type within the forest.
