A year after TINNITVS, our double anniversary compilation, we’re happy to present TINNITVS : RELAPSE, an extension of the original edition with remixes by members of the Global URL Nation.

In this edition, GUN affiliates /pulsr_ , Cosmic Caz, Désiré,  indigoblue, RougeHotel, SNKLS, Talita Otović & Yaka offer their own take on the original tracks and expand its sonic palette with a wide spectrum of noises, pitches, and textures. Buzzing, hissing, humming, clicking or sizzling, it’s still ringing!

First Listen: Dervisis - 'Yelde' (BFTT’s Gliding Slug Remix)

On ACEN021 producer Jennifer Walton steps out from releasing Mutualism & Illegal Data to deliver a club focused four track on All Centre.

Title track ‘Flash On’ Jennifer enlists fellow All Centre artist BFTT to drum up a charged introduction. Characterised by a lurching beat and fizzing percussion the tracks namesake sample ushers in the tracks impenetrable bass movements. Crisis of Confidence brings to life monotone vocal samples by swaddling them in bouncy drum patterns meancing acid bass stabs. Culminating in a capitulation to a dequantized breakdown, dowsing the stereo canvas in drum hits.

On Neo-Renaissance girl bit crushed drums and a listful piano twirl amongst one another in a track that’s equal parts evocative, blistering and frenetic. One second a rich harpsichord jostles for your attention whilst the next an ascendant tone or lacerated sample demands the listeners attention.. The record’s closing statement ‘Blush’ is the record’s nod to the UK’s dance music canon, with a swung garage beat leading a death charge beneath a chiptune melody typical of Walton’s digital sensibilities.

Flash On is available across all platforms from the 2nd of October.

CLUB CHAI Vol. 2 is a collection of tracks by artists whose work truly embodies the Club Chai ethos that exists in storytelling through sound. As we close out the label, this release remains a lustrous perspective on the future.

Alongside the compilation, the Club Chai Archive book is out today on our Bandcamp. You can preorder the book alongside the digital release of the compilation for a bundled price of $35 ($15 for the compilation and $25 for the book).

The archive book is a culmination of all the moving parts that make up Club Chai at once – a way to honor the project's complexity and intimacy. A way to honor the project's complexity and intimacy. How do we remember and archive something that is really made up of a fleeting feeling? Being on the dancefloor with friends, singing in unison or zoning out in complete bliss. It feels right to create something physical that can be held, touched and encountered slowly and 
carefully. Making this book entirely with friends makes it feel even more intimate and special.
