So, I think this can be successfully registered against the challenge. 😊 In short, was researching the Olympics, then Paris, and came across the Paris Syndrome – this idea of being disappointed when experiencing the reality (often happened for Japanese tourist’s with Paris). Thought – this is the opposite for God! We get closer and the reality is better than we can even imagine.

Riffing of Ps 66:8 which caught my attention, and paying homage to 90s and 00s praise hits, and to Reef (UK rock band from the 90s) at the same time. Didn’t spend loads of time on this, which the lyrics might indicate! Running out of time though!

Well, that was fun using ChatGPT! Started with ‘write me the best worship song ever’, but this song came out of a request to write a hymn based on the book of Joshua (which we are in as a church atm). Asked it to remove the rhymes (as they were twee). Based the verses on the themes suggested and then played considerably with it. Found it very helpful to get something down to then work with.
