Made in june '97 sampling an Ibanez electric bass played by myself over a kind of electronic-surf beat. 
Fuzz distortion comes from the Akai XL3000's FX section, the sweeps, modulations and sci-fi fx were made filtering trought a Korg MS20 synthesizer. Mixed analogically in a Soundcraft Spirit desk, recorded with Tascam DA30 DAT, it sounds dirty and harsh, anyway don't complain cause that's pure electronic r'nr, so enjoy it!

Our series does not stop and we are delighted to host an artist who is the pioneer of a genre. Pioneer of a completely new dance, for what were the notes to accompany it, the protagonists of the rhythm, the social context, the scenarios. It was 1987 when the British Nancy Noise, Paul Oakenfold, Danny Rampling, Nicky Holloway, Johnny Walker and company gathered on the same island to dance to the same revolutionary music. They called it Balearic Beat but no one has ever really managed to give a definition to that sound that was proposed every summer by Alfredo Fiorito, and our host Leo Mas, Dj Cesar De Melero, Dj Pippi, Dj Nelo, ... What was sure is that back in London, they couldn't stop talking about it. Of its majestic dawns, of great parties, of Amnesia, of Ku and of Glory's, of pure hedonism, of its colors. Between 1987 and 1988, Ibiza was the hippest thing in Europe. In this regard, Josè Padilla expressed himself: "the hippie spirit is basic because it is inspired by the simplest values to which the natural instinct introduces us, such as the open air, the moon, the stars, dance and good music: the island of Ibiza is summed up in all this ”. It is this essence that gave the name of "Second Summer of Love" to that magical summer of 1988, heir to that of San Francisco dated 1967, when the young American generation decided to rebel against the conflict in Vietnam through peace, love and music.
