The story
Big hozz & the Animals (Bhata)

founded in 1980 by:
Per Frimodig: Drums
Paul Marshall: Bass
Billy Johansson: Guitar
Mike Voice: Vocals

BHATA started playing in
Norrkoping Sweden 1980 a few demos were recorded but the band built its reputation
as a strong and crazy stage performance, which contained much smoke, bombs and props.
That lineup made a classic performance at Skandia theater in Norrköping 1980
then the band's reputation as one of Sweden's best heavy metal band was founded.
After some tough years without the success they hoped for they transformed the
band under the name TOX 1985.
Tox lineup:
Anders Jensen: Drums
Paul Marshall: Bass
Billy Johansson: Guitar
Mike Voice: Vocals
In 1985 they went their separate ways, but the dream of BHATA was always there.

So in 1990 they made another attempt with the new lineup:
Paul Marshall: Bass
Billy Johansson: Guitar
Mike Voice: Vocals
Sally Cruise: Guitar
Gus Divine: Drums
Gus was replaced by:
Daniel Gese on Drums
After six months, one single: Edge of Life / Lucifer's friend was recorded

After a few concerts and inner tension in the band they stoped BHATA in 1990.

But the dream is still alive and in 1991 BHATA makes another try
with the new lineup:

Lars Jonsson: Drums
This lineup makes some gigs and start writing new songs for a CD.
And 1994 plays on TV4 East with this lineup:
Paul Marshall: Bass
Billy Johannson: Grid
Mike Voice: Song
Lars Jonsson: Drums

2011 And the dream is alive!!!!
BHATA is writing new songs and are recording a new cd
in 2011.
