The folks at 94.3 Radio One recent had me and this sweeeeet vocalist Megha Lama over to do a Grammy Special covering some of the nominations from the Grammy Awards 2015. This is one of our podcasts including us covering Sam Smith's Stay With Me.

Radio One 94.3 had Coldplay as their artist of the month this May and were extremely kind as they are to call me in and do a rendition or 2 of their songs. Here's me performing 'Magic' from their newest album 'Ghost Stories' after a bit of chit chat with Rj Chris.

This is my take on The White Stripes' Seven Nation Army.

Seven Nation Army - Bhavya Raj

Bhavya, a young 20 year old is an Indie Pop Singer/Songwriter hailing from New Delhi. Composing since age 10 and writing songs since the age of 15, his songs are both in Hindi and English and often Bilingual too. His debut Single - 'Spexy Girl' released in August 2015 with a music video and is now running on MTV INDIES.

Bhavya is a self taught vocalist, drummer, guitarist and producer. 

He performs Solo and as a Duo/Trio too where he's accompanied by a Pianist and a Percussionist. 

Bhavya does renditions of popular artists from the likes of Bon Iver, Passenger, Tom Odell, Coldplay, James Brown, Daft Punk, Sam Smith, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Michael Jackson, Adele to A R Rahman, Agnee, Lucky Ali, Arijit Singh and Mohit Chauhan along with his own originals. 

He's been invited on to Radio One 94.3 numerous times to play tributes to artists such as Coldplay and the Grammy Nominations. 
Bhavya has also opened for bands like Parikrama, Agnee and Baiju Dharmajan Syndicate.

His songwriting on the other hand, incorporates a variety of influences such as R & B, Acoustic Folk and Pop Rock. He likes to write songs about different kinds of human relationships and the complications within and has been known to bring a soulful and mellow vibe with his originals as well as a certain foot-tapping groove.

He recently released the Nivi, the first song from his Upcoming Album 'Zoning Out'.

He also performs with his own act known as the Bhavya Raj Trio. This is essentially an unplugged set-up. 
Having been performing for numerous Corporate shows across the country for an year, the Trio has now been slowly making a name in Destination Weddings.
