Mechanical devotional service is linked to being unconscious and unaware. It's like being on autopilot while trying to make an offering. This can go on for years and thus we may not receive the full benefit from our devotional activities. One of the ways in which we can move beyond this is by bringing conscious awareness to the mood and meaning of the prayers of our Vaisnava acaryas. Meditation on these prayers can help us derive greater understanding, awareness and progress on the path of devotion. In this series of presentations we'll explore a prayer and meditate on the insights revealed to us through the heart and devotion of our acaryas.
