In a grey and heavy, dusty landscape, the air is filled with dense mental clouds. Unbeknown, from the depths of the watery moon, a spring sprouts, filling the grey desert with turquoise tears, cleansing, purifying, clearing the eyes of the haziness of the mind, until the landscape transforms intro a bright stellar sea.

The first track from the project "Poems of the Psyche" where I practically describe in words interior visual journeys that I take inside myself in the search of understanding the layers under the skin. To keep the genuine storytelling of the images that I receive, the musical part is an improvisation, recorded in one shot with little to no post-processing.  Practically the idea is to to keep the intellect and the mind as far as possible to the creative process, so that whatever images or sounds I receive from my interior world I put them out in the purest form possible. 

Poem 1. Root Song

I, I went down
down into the forest, down into the ground

down to herbs that stung my skin
my ancles red and bruised, kissed by the nettles
the rainy wind is ravaging my hair
and wet, wet
cold rain
everywhere

I went down into the forest
and passed near the grinning teeth 
of a fox, of a wolf, of a bear,
bite me I said, and moved on
the birds have stopped to sing their joyful song

I went down into the forest
to heal at the root of the oak tree
to put my ear on the ground
and listened to the sweet melody the roots sang for me

I wrote it with dirt on my bare hands, my bare feet, my naked skin

The Mechanical Dolls Of Fun

Musical piece created only with the use of voice, where I try to illustrate my internal landscapes and journeys through sound. The long days of confinement and deep silences gave me the chance to enter even deeper into my psyche and get to meet and know better my shadow side, listen to what she has to say and create a better relationship with it, through clarity and care. This song is an external manifestation of this process.
